Hygiene and Return Policy

Binding rules of Unity Shield LLC regarding orders, hygiene products, made-to-order manufacturing and the technical inspection and rectification procedure on noson.ch.

1. Binding nature of orders – No right of withdrawal or return

Under applicable Swiss law (Articles 40a et seq. OR), there is no statutory right of withdrawal, cancellation or return for purchases in online commerce. Unity Shield LLC likewise grants no voluntary contractual right of return, exchange or cancellation. Upon completion of the order on noson.ch, the purchase contract is legally binding on the buyer. Please check product selection, size specifications, colors and delivery address carefully before submitting your order.

2. Hygiene products with mucosal contact (noson® nasal dilator)

The noson® nasal dilator as well as all components, hygiene and care items applied in the nasal area are handcrafted, sealed health-protection and hygiene products designed to be inserted into the nasal cavity in direct contact with the nasal mucous membranes. For mandatory reasons of health protection and hygiene, these products are generally and without exception—even in an unopened condition—excluded from any return, exchange or refund.

3. Made-to-order items (Print-on-Demand & custom production)

Textile, bag, shoe, accessory and selected supply items are manufactured, printed, processed or individually prepared to order by independent manufacturing partners only after receipt and full payment of your order. Such made-to-order or custom-prepared items are without exception excluded from cancellation, return, exchange and refund.

4. Inspection and defect notice period (3 business days under Art. 201 OR) and exclusive rectification (3 attempts)

Pursuant to Article 201(1) OR, the buyer must inspect the delivered goods immediately upon receipt. Should a product exhibit a recognizable material or manufacturing defect, notice must be given in text form by email to [email protected] no later than within three (3) business days from delivery, enclosing the original proof of purchase, order number, an exact fault description and photo documentation; after expiry of 3 business days, the goods are deemed unconditionally approved pursuant to Article 201(2) OR and all claims are forfeited. As set out in section 6 of our Terms and Conditions, rescission, price reduction, replacement delivery and substitute performance are excluded pursuant to Article 199 OR. In the case of a verifiable material or manufacturing defect duly notified within 3 business days, defects are remedied exclusively by professional rectification (repair, fine readjustment or component replacement by the designated independent inspection and service point), with Unity Shield LLC being entitled to at least three (3) rectification attempts for each asserted defect. The regular processing time per inspection and rectification process is 3 to 4 weeks (21 to 28 business days) from receipt of the demonstrably cleaned and disinfected product at the inspection point designated in the return authorization (RMA). Unannounced, unstamped, US-addressed or uncleaned and undisinfected shipments will be refused for occupational and health protection reasons. Subjective wearing sensation, individual nasal anatomy and damage caused by unauthorized bending, improper handling or incorrect cleaning do not constitute a material defect; where no material defect exists, the sender bears all inspection, processing and return shipping costs. Any inspection or rectification takes place without acknowledgement of a legal obligation (Article 135 OR).
